Carina is a wonderful, compassionate human being, and our organization is so grateful for her help in repairing our relationship with another group with whom we work closely. We were dealing with a fraught situation, including difficult questions of personal conduct and organizational protocols, with some participants feeling under threat and others hesitant to state their perspectives or needs. The tension was noticeably deflated after meeting with Carina. Her presence allowed everyone to voice their concerns and questions safely and to identify with minimal judgement where harm had been done. With Carina’s help we all realized that we were ultimately on the same side of the issue, can and want to continue our joint efforts, and have since made strides toward rebuilding trust and communication between the groups.
